The New York State Department of Transportation issued an alert this week cautioning that beginning on Monday, June 11, Route 9A will be a lane closure from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. in Cortlandt while crews continue to perform utility construction activities on a nearby gas main.
No timetable has been released regarding the scope of the project, though officials said it will last “several weeks.” During the project, motorists can expect delays and have been asked to seek alternate routes. There will be detours posted and flaggers are expected to be in the area to assist with the flow of traffic during construction.
